April 18,
2003 — eigoManga staged its first anime rock concert by invading the
San Francisco State University campus at noon. The event was held at the Malcom X plaza within the university.
The event included performances by two local hard rock bands, an anime fashion show, and Natalise, a rising local
pop song star, closing the event. In addition to the concert, audience members were invited to dress up in anime
costumes (cosplay), watch anime screenings,
purchase
anime videos,
and get autographs from Natalise.
It was a perfect day for the learned college students to go out and enjoy the warm sun and the fantastic music.
