Here's a set of sample Photoshop actions. Included in the set are 3 actions -- 2 framing actions and an action to add watermarks. These are just sample actions to give you an idea of what actions can do and how to create your own set of actions.

"Frame - 0.25" black border" action creates a 0.25" black border around the document. The actual number of pixels will depend on the document resolution (dpi) since it always creates a 0.25" border.

"Frame - 0.25" foreground color border" action creates a 0.25" border also but the color is based on the foreground color currently selected.

"Watermark - ABC Photo" action adds a text watermark "ABC Photo" to bottom right of the image.
